Tanya Levy
Tanya Levy is a counsellor, an educator, a writer and a digital artist. As an artist, she photographs nature, especially cloud hearts, light or whatever calls to be captured. Her photos speak to her and tell her their message. Her art is featured in an oracle deck she co-created called Affirmations for the Body and Biofield. She has worked in the human services field for 30 years. She is passionate and a strong advocate for the healing power of everyone’s own unique journey. Dana Hammond
Dana Hammond is a Four Seasons Color Analyst, certified through Color Me Beautiful. She offers her color analysis service through her business, First Coffee Then Colors. Prior to becoming a color analyst, she worked in the non-profit and education fields. She lives in New York's Hudson Valley with her family. A bit of info on Seasonal Color Analysis: Seasonal color analysis refers to the process of using precision dyed fabric drapes to examine the effects on a person's appearance, as well as examining the person's person’s skin tone, eyes, and hair to create a color palette (referred to as a season) that compliments them best. The practice gained popularity in the 1980s with the release of Carole Jackson's book “Color Me Beautiful.” By creating seasonal palettes that matched her clients’ features and skin tones, Jackson inspired fashion-forward individuals to create curated wardrobes. Erika Biesemeier
Erika Biesemeier is an Art Therapist at HELP Women’s Center in Brooklyn, NY. H.W.C provides services for women experiencing homelessness. She is also a painter living and working in Brooklyn. Erika makes oil and watercolor paintings and drawings that are not quite abstractions. She uses gestural, fluid color to describe and understand her inner experiences, past interactions, and the transference of energy that can occur between people. Erika has extensive experience in adolescent and family work and has a deep understanding of trauma and its relation to the body and mind. Erika holds a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design and an MA in Art Therapy from New York University. Her approach is person centered--intuitive and dedicated to creating resilience, strength and self-expression through creative arts therapy. Erika believes in empowering women by providing a safe place to find their voice, share their experience and heal through the act of art making.
