Solution-focused, strength-based psychotherapy is a goal-oriented, future-focused approach. Instead of dwelling on past trauma or analyzing problems, it relies on your existing internal resources and personal strengths to construct actionable solutions and achieve your desired future.
This approach is particularly effective for managing stress, mild-to-moderate anxiety, relationship struggles, or life transitions where you feel stuck. It is generally less suitable for individuals dealing with severe psychiatric conditions (like schizophrenia or acute psychosis) that require more comprehensive, trauma-informed, or long-term interventions

Continuing Education for Mental Health Providers
When mental health providers feel prepared to manage the challenges of their work, their rate of burn out is significantly reduced! Ellen’s Workshops are interactive, creative & make learning a pleasure.
